My name is Natalya Vaynblat but I go by Natasha. This is because in Russia (where I was born) Natasha is a nickname for Natalya (I realize it's strange because both names are the same amount of letters...trust me, I know). I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia but moved to Richmond, Virginia with my family when I was eight years old. I spent the rest of my childhood in Richmond and went to college at the University of Virginia. I majored in English Literature and minored in Media Studies. The majority of my time was spent writing for the local humor paper and performing improv comedy. I moved to NYC to begin working for Teach for American Currently, I am teaching high school English and performing improv.
